Yesterday I landed in the place of the ancient ones, the motherland of Mu. While my purpose here is to recharge and reignite my passion for my work, this place of ancient wisdom calls to me.
My intent is for this to be a mainly silent retreat in a perfect oasis. Yet, something else is calling to me just outside the walls of my villa. As I attempt to put words and a form to this calling, I open to the magic of the land surrounding me. What is here to be discovered? What is she trying to tell me?
This morning as the roosters crowed outside my window, I woke before dawn and dressed for a hike. Exploring unknown areas is both frightening and exhilarating to me at the same time. I get anxious at the thought of losing my way but remember that sometimes being lost is part of a greater adventure.
I find more magic as I walk further out of my comfort zone. This beauty above whispers to me that's it's safe to keep going. I follow my heart and intuition and realize there is nothing to be afraid of.
I'm making it a habit to take a solo journey like this at least once a year. No one but me and my God and helping spirits to depend on. No familiar territory, no agenda, and no expectations have allowed me to truly enjoy each present moment.
I put my shamans hat on and decide to make this trip a shamanic journey in and of itself. What will happen now as I part the veil and peek in.
I find a rooster feather in the grass and realize the spirit of rooster energy is all around me here. At the rental car lot as I step off the shuttle, at the grocery store parking lot, and now outside my window the crow of many roosters surrounds me.
Tonight I will journey into the Lower World with my feather and see what messages await. Until then, Aloha.
